Due to school measures to protect the health and well-being of all students, 3rd party Hot Lunch programs are temporarily suspended.
Students are required to bring all of their own lunches, snacks and drinks for their own consumption and sharing of any food items is not allowed.
Thank you for your understanding!
McKechnie students are able to order Hot Lunches on Wednesdays and Pizza Lunches on Thursdays.
Both of these programs are organized by McKechnie parent volunteers through the PAC. It’s strongly advised that parents place orders along with their children so that everyone is happy with the meal choices selected.
(Same day entree exchanges are not possible, due to various allergy and food sensitivity concerns.)
C’est Mon Café is our service provider for Hot Lunch and you may order directly here:
Funds raised go directly to support the annual PAC initiatives and support for the school.
Orders are due on the Monday evening preceding the Wednesday Hot Lunch date.
Late Orders (up until 9am on the Hot Lunch Wednesday) may be placed using the “Late Order” button on C’est Mon Café’s website. C’est Mon Café’s policy is that if there are extra portions remaining after the first round of lunch service, children are welcome to ask for seconds of the same entrée ordered (based on availability).
Pizza lunches are co-ordinated by our parent volunteers, with grade 7 students helping out every second week as an important fundraiser for the annual Grade 7 graduation trip to Strathcona Camp in June. The alternating weeks are run by parent volunteers and funds raised go directly to support the annual PAC initiatives and direct support for the school.
To order Pizza Lunch, sign-up on the Munch a Lunch website here.
Orders are due on the Sunday night preceding the Pizza Lunch date.
As part of Thursday Pizza Lunches, TUBIFY freezies are offered as a fun treat.
These are locally-made, small batch, organic frozen fruit smoothies that taste amazing!
